Our job was to take this concept, understand the pain points of their target customers and connect the dots. After working with many retailers and shopping centers over the years, we were well versed in the goals of all types of shopping destinations. As shoppers ourselves, we understood the value of a rewards program that is easy to understand and use. But a thorough review with the Saltwater Loyalty team helped surface and solidify more of the platform’s capabilities and expandability.
We then moved into the messaging phase. The ability to capture a concept in a few words is something we are always thrilled to do and this time, we knew we nailed it. Then we paired our phrases with powerful imagery and moved them online to create a mobile-friendly web presence. Through several iterations, we found the perfect UX to deliver as much information as a user could desire in well-calculated, digestible sections. Throughout the experience the Saltwater Loyalty brand values served as our guiding principles— honesty, transparency, and trust.
