If anyone understands the deep need for reinvention, it’s the LA Fashion District. As Downtown Los Angeles enjoys its revitalization, the Fashion District also recognized the need to expand and enhance their image as well. Hungry to show their diverse retailers, vibrant neighborhoods, and artistic forces, the Fashion District needed a website that could deliver the larger message in a memorable way. So, we took that as a highly interesting challenge.
In order to capture that spirit of originality, we produced beautiful original photography and built in a robust content management system for their website. We upgraded their database and search tools to make every search easier and faster. And we integrated their active social feeds to engage new audiences and help express the district’s bounty and variety. The content management system is flexible enough to allow staff to quickly update business, events, district happenings, visitor information and all the up-to-the-minute news.
Savvy smartphone users make up a near-majority of the audience so, of course, we catered to them by making everything mobile-friendly with optimized search and mapping tools. And last but not least, we updated their email template to match their sleek, new site.
