Downtown Los Angeles was in desperate need of an image makeover. So, we created a new website and ad campaign showcasing a dynamic Downtown through the stories of people who live and work in Downtown LA – including videos from residents, employees, and business owners. This Is My Downtown is an immersive experience with constantly updated videos, links to favorite hot spots, blog posts featuring stories submitted by locals, and community contests with prizes from Downtown LA businesses. The attractive content and an extra boost of publicity through street pole banners in Downtown Los Angeles has resulted in a 250% increase over anticipated visitors. Now that’s a classic comeback story.
